¶p: The Eighth Communion is with the Angel of Joy, she who descends to earth to give beauty to all mankind, for the Lord is not worshiped with sadness, nor with cries of despair.

Leave off your moans and lamentations, and sing to the Lord a new song.

¶a: Sing to the Lord, all the earth.
4
Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad.
5
Let the field be joyful; let the floods clap their hands; let the hills be joyful together before the Lord, for you will go forth with joy, and be led forth with peace, in the service of your Gods.
6
The mountains and the hills will break forth before you' into singing and rejoicing before the Lord.
7
Angel of Joy, holy messenger of the Earthly Mother, I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my Gods while I have my being.

¶p: The heavens smile; the earth celebrates; the morning stars sing together, and all the Children of Light shout for joy.
9
¶a: Oh sing to the Heavenly Father a new song; sing to the Earthly Mother, all the earth.
10
Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and let mortals be glad in the blessings of the fullness of Eternal Life.

¶p: Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein; then will all the trees of the wood rejoice before the Holy Law.

¶c: Sing to the Heavenly Father, all you heavens of heavens, and you waters that are above the heavens, all mountains and all hills, stormy wind fulfilling his word, fruitful trees and all cedars, beasts and all cattle, creeping things and flying fowl, rulers of the earth and all people, governors and all judges of the earth, young men and maidens, old people and children, let them sing to the Heavenly Father with joy.

¶p: Sing to the Lord with the harp and voice of a psalm.
14
With trumpets and sound of pipes, make a joyful noise before the Angels.
15
¶c: Let the floods clap their hands; let the hills be joyful together before the Lord.
16
¶p: Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all you lands.
17
Serve the Heavenly Father and the Earthly Mother with gladness and joy; come before their presence with singing.
18
¶a: The spirit of the Holy Law is upon me, because the Elders have anointed me to preach good tidings to the meek.
19
They have sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound, to comfort all that mourn, to send to them the holy Angel of Joy, to give to them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of Light for the spirit of heaviness, for weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

¶p: The people that walked in darkness will see a Great Light, and they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, on them will shine the Light of the Holy Law.

¶c: Drop down, you heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down happiness.
22
¶p: Let the people of sadness go out with joy, and be led forth with peace.

¶a: Let the mountains and the hills break forth before them into singing, that they might partake of the holy celebration, and eat of the fruit of the Tree of Life, which stands in the; middle of the Eternal Sea.
24
¶p: The sun will be no more their light by day, neither for brightness, will the moon give light to them, but the Law will be to them an Everlasting Light, and the Heavenly Father and the Earthly Mother will be their Eternal glory.
25
¶c: Their sun will no more go down, neither will their moon withdraw itself, for the Law will be their Everlasting Light, and the days of their mourning will be ended.

¶a: I will greatly rejoice in the holy Law.
27
My soul will be joyful in the works of the Gods, for they have clothed me in garments of Light; they have covered me with robes of joy.
28
¶p: As the earth brings forth her bud, and as the garden causes its seeds to spring forth, so the Heavenly Father will cause the Holy Law to spring forth, with gladness and joy, before all the Children of Light.

¶c: In the Garden of the Lord, all the earth shines with holiness and abundant joy, for there are the seeds of the Holy Law sown.
30
¶p: The Law is the best of all good for the Children of Light.
31
It gives to them brightness and glory, health and strength of the body, long life in communion with the Angels, and Eternal and Unending joy.
32
¶a: We will sing to the Heavenly Father, and to the Earthly Mother, and to all the Angels, as long as we live in the Garden of the Lord; we will sing praise to the Holy Law forever and ever.
