1 [10:1]
Now I, Nephi will inscribe upon these plates an account of my journey, of my rule among my people, and of my ministry facing Ha’Elohim; and to do this right, I must speak again of my father and of my brothers.
2a [10:2]
¶ And after my father had finished recounting the words of his dream, after he had urged us with all diligence, he spoke to us concerning the Yehudima:
2b [10:3a]
That Yerushalayim, the City of Peace, would be brought low; that many would be carried away in chains into Babylon.
3 [10:3b]
Yet in the appointed time of יהוה YHVH, they would return again, released from captivity, and repossess the land of their inheritance.
4 [10:4]
¶ He taught us further that six hundred years after he had fled from Yerushalayima, YHVH Elohim would raise up among the Yehudim a Prophet greater than all: the Mashiyachb, the Abiyrc of the world.
5 [10:5]
Many prophets, he said, had already borne witnessa of Him, this Redeemer;
6 [10:6]
for without Him all humanity remains fallen and lost, with no path of teshuvah.
7 [10:7]
¶ My father also spoke of the forerunnera, a prophet sent ahead, to prepare the way of יהוה YHVH.
8 [10:8a]
One who would cry out in the wilderness: Prepare the way of יהוה YHVH! Make straight the paths of our Elohim!
9 [10:8b]
He would proclaim: There stands among you One you do not yet know, One mightier than I, whose sandals I am unworthy to loosen.
10 [10:8c]
Much did my father teach concerning this heralda.
11 [10:9]
He said this prophet would baptize at Bethabaraa beyond the Jordan, immersing in living water, and that he would t’vilahb the Mashiyach in the mikvehc Himself.
12 [10:10]
And after this immersion, he would bear witness: I have baptized Seh Ha’Elohima, the Lamb of Elohim, who carries away the guiltb of the world.
13 [10:11a]
¶ Then my father turned to speak of the Besoraha, the Good News, that would be preached among the Yehudim,
14 [10:11b]
and of their gradual turning away in unbelief.
15 [10:11c]
He prophesied that after the Mashiyach was slain, He would rise from death, and reveal Himself by the Ruach HaKodesh to the goyima.
16a [10:12a]
¶ Much did he say of the goyim and of Bnei Yisrael, the people of the straight path to El,
16b [10:12b]
likening them to an olive treea: its branches brokenb off, scattered across the face of the earth.
17 [10:13]
Thus, my father said, it was necessary that we be led together into a land of promise, that the Word of יהוה YHVH might be fulfilled, that Yisrael would be scattered.
18 [10:14a]
Yet scattering would not be the end; afterward, Yisrael would be gathered again.
19 [10:14b]
After the goyim had received the fullness of the Besorah, the natural branchesa, the remnant of Yisrael, would be grafted back in, coming at last to know their true Mashiyach, their Adonaib, their Ga’alic.
20 [10:15a]
In this manner did my father prophesy to my brothers,
21 [10:15b]
and many more things besides which I do not record here, for they are written more fully in my other book.
22 [10:16]
All of these things occurred while my father dwelt in a tenta in the valley of Lemuel.
23 [10:17a]
¶ Now after I, Nephi, had heard all the words of my father, the visions he saw,
24 [10:17b]
and the prophecies he spoke by the power of the Ruach, which power he received through faith in Ben Elohima, the Son of Ha’Elohim.
25 [10:17c]
(And Ben Elohim is the Mashiyach who would come.)
26a [10:17d]
I longed within my soul to see, to hear, and to know these things myself, by that same Ruach HaKodesh.
26b [10:17e]
This gift is given by Ha’Elohim to all who diligently seek יהוה YHVH, in ancient days, and in the days when He would manifest Himself among the children of men.
27 [10:18a]
For He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
28 [10:18b]
The way has been prepared from the foundation of the world for all who repent and turn toward יהוה YHVH.
29 [10:19a]
The one who truly seeks will find;
30 [10:19b]
and the hidden mysteries of Ha’Elohim will be unfolded by the power of the Holy Winda today even as it was in former times.
31 [10:19c]
in this present age, and in ages yet to come.
32 [10:19d]
For the path of יהוה YHVH moves in one eternal circlea.
33 [10:20]
Remember, O people of the earth: for every deeda, you will be brought into judgment!
34 [10:21a]
If you choose wickedness during the days of your probation, you will stand unclean before the judgmenta seat of Ha’Elohim.
35 [10:21b]
No unclean thing can dwell in the Presencea; therefore, such must be cast away.
36 [10:22]
And the Holy Wind bears witness that I speak these words, and I do not deny them.
37 [11:1a]
¶ And because I, Nephi, yearned to understand the vision my father had seen, trusting with full faith that יהוה YHVH is able to reveal all things,
38 [11:1b]
I sat quietly, pondering in the depths of my heart, when suddenly, I was caught up by the Ruach of יהוה YHVH, lifted beyond myself, and carried to an exceedingly high mountain, one I had never known, a place my feet had never touched.
39 [11:2]
And the Voice spoke, saying: What do you desire?
40 [11:3]
And I answered: I desire to see the things my father saw.
41 [11:4]
Then the Voice said to me: Do you believe that your father truly beheld the tree of which he has spoken?
42 [11:5]
And I replied: Yes, you know that I believe all the words of my father.
43 [11:6a]
¶ Then the Voice cried out with a great voice, saying: Hosanna to יהוה YHVH, El Elyona, Elohim Shaddaib! יהוה YHVH reigns over all the earth, above every throne and power.
44 [11:6b]
And the Voice said to me: Blessed are you, Nephi, for you have believed in the Sona of El Elyon! Because of this, you will behold the things you desire.
45a [11:7a]
And this shall be your sign: after you behold the Tree bearing the fruit your father tasted, you will also see a Man descending from heaven.
45b [11:7b]
You will witness Him, and after you have seen Him, you shall testify that He is Ben Elohima.
46a [11:8a]
¶ Then the Voice said: Look!
46b [11:8b]
And I looked, and I saw the Treea! It was like the tree my father had seen, yet its beauty surpassed all beauty, and its whitenessb exceeded even driven snow.
47 [11:9]
¶ And when I saw it, I said: Surely, you have shown me the Tree that is most precious of all.
48 [11:10]
And then the Voice asked: What do you desire now?
49 [11:11a]
I answered: To know the meaning of what I have been shown.
50 [11:11b]
Though He appeared in the form of a mana, and spoke as one man speaks to another, I knew He was the Ruach of יהוה YHVH.
51a [11:12a]
¶ Then The Voice said again: Look!
51b [11:12b]
And as I turned to see Him, He was no longer before me.
52 [11:13a]
And I looked, and I beheld the great city of Yerushalayim, and many other cities.
53 [11:13b]
And I saw Natzereta, and within it, a young womanb, exceedingly fair, radiant, and pure.
54a [11:14a]
¶ The heavens opened, and a malak descended and stood before me.
54b [11:14b]
He asked: Nephi, what do you see?
55 [11:15]
I answered: A young lady, more virtuous and lovely than any other woman.
56 [11:16]
And the malak said: Do you understand the condescension of Ha’Elohim?
57 [11:17]
I replied: I know that He loves His children, yet I do not know the meaning of all things.
58 [11:18]
And the malak said: The young woman you see is the mother of Ben Enosha, after the manner of flesh.
59 [11:19a]
¶ Then I saw her carried away in the Ruach.
60 [11:19b]
After a time, the malak said again: Look!
61 [11:20]
And I saw her once more, now bearing a child in her arms.
63 [11:21b]
Do you now understand the Tree your father saw?
64 [11:22]
And I answered: Yes, it is Ahavaha, the love of Ha’Elohim, poured out into the hearts of the children of mankind, most desirable above all things.
65 [11:23]
And He said: Yes, and the most joyous to the soul.
66a [11:24a]
Then the Voice said again: Look!
66b [11:24b]
And I witnessed Ben Elohim walking among humanity.
67 [11:24c]
Many fell at His feet and worshiped Him.
68 [11:25a]
¶ And I saw that the Rod of Iron was the Word of YHVH Ametha, leading to the Fountain of Living Waters to the Tree of Life; and these waters were the love of Ha’Elohim itself.
69 [11:25b]
And I understood that the Tree of Life was also a manifestation of that Ahavah.
70 [11:26]
And the malak said again: Look! and behold the condescensiona of יהוה YHVH!
71 [11:27a]
And I saw the Ga’alia of the world,
72 [11:27b]
and the propheta who prepared His way.
73 [11:27c]
The Lamb was washeda clean, the heavens opened,
74 [11:27d]
and the Ruach HaKodesh descended like a dovea and rested upon Him.
75 [11:28a]
And He went forth ministering in power and glory.
76 [11:28b]
The multitudes gathered,
77 [11:28c]
And yet they cast Him out!
78 [11:29a]
I saw twelvea others following Him.
79 [11:29b]
¶ Then, they were taken from my sight.
80a [11:30a]
Again the malak said: Look!
80b [11:30b]
And I saw the heavens opened,
81 [11:30c]
and mal’akhim descended to minister to the children of mankind.
82a [11:31a]
Again he said: Look!
82b [11:31b]
And I saw the Lamb going out to the people:
84 [11:31d]
The malak spoke to me, showing me all these righteous works,
85 [11:31e]
and they were healed by the power of the Lamb of Ha’Elohim, and the devils and the unclean spirits were cast out.
86a [11:32a]
¶ Then again he said: Look!
86b [11:32b]
And I beheld the Lamb seizeda by the people; El Olam, the Everlasting God was judged by the worldb; I saw, and I bear witness.
87 [11:33]
And I saw that He was lifted upon the treea and slain for the sins of all.
88 [11:34]
Afterward, I saw the nations gather to war against the Shli’achima of the Lamb.
89 [11:35a]
They assembled as one,
90 [11:35b]
and they were in a great and spacious building, the very same structure my father had seen.
91 [11:35c]
And then the malak said: Behold the world, and the wisdom of the world.
92 [11:35e]
And even Bnei Yisrael gathered as one to fight against the twelve Shli’achim of the Lamb.
93 [11:36a]
¶ And I saw that the great and spacious building was the pride and egoism of the world.
94 [11:36b]
And it fell, and its fall was profound and remarkable.
95 [11:36c]
Then the malak of יהוה YHVH said: Thus shall be the end of all nations, peoples, and powers who fight against the Shli’achim of the Lamb.
96 [12:1a]
¶ And the malak said to me: Look, and behold your seed, and the seed of your brothers.
97 [12:1b]
And I lifted my eyes, and I saw the Land of Promise spread wide before me.
98 [12:1c]
And upon it came multitudes of people, countless as the grains of sand upon the shore of the sea.
99a [12:2a]
¶ And I saw many people gathered against one another, nation rising against nation.
99b [12:2b]
There were wars, and rumors of wars, and the sword drank deeply among my own people.
100 [12:3a]
¶ Generations passed before my eyes, each shaped by conflict and contention.
101 [12:3b]
Cities rose, too many to number, and cities fell.
102 [12:4a1]
¶ Then a mist of darknessa covered the land of promise, a choking cloud upon the face of the earth.
103 [12:4b]
Lightning tore the heavens; thunder answereda from the depths.
104 [12:4c]
The earth convulsed, and the rocks splita apart.
105 [12:4d]
Mountainsa collapsed into fragments.
106 [12:4e]
Plains brokea open.
107 [12:4f]
Cities sanka beneath the ground.
108 [12:4g]
Others were consumeda by fire.
109 [12:4h]
Many were thrown down by the trembling of the earth.
110 [12:5a]
¶ After these things, the vapor of darkness lifteda,
111 [12:5b]
and I saw those who had not fallen under the great and terrible judgments of יהוה YHVH.
112 [12:6]
And behold: the heavens opened, and the Lamb of Ha’Elohim descendeda from heaven and stood among the people, revealing Himself to the survivors.
113 [12:7]
And I saw and I bear record that Ruach HaKodesh descended upon twelve others: they were ordained by Oseh Shaloma, chosen and set apart.
114 [12:8]
¶ The malak said to me: Behold the twelve disciplesa of the Lamb, chosen to minister to your seed.
115 [12:9a]
Do you remember the twelve Shli’achim of the Lamb? They will judge the twelve tribes of Yisrael, they who walk the straight path to God.
116a [12:9b]
So also shall these twelve ministers of your descendants be judged by them, because you are of Bet Yisrael.
116b [12:10a]
These twelve whom you see will judgea your seed.
117 [12:10b]
They are righteous forever, for through faith in the Lamb of Ha’Elohim, their garments are made white in His blood.
118a [12:11a]
¶ The malak said: Look!
118b [12:11b]
And then I saw three generationsa pass away in righteousness, their garments were whiteb, like the Lamb Himself.
119 [12:11c]
These are made clean by the blood of the Lamba, the malak said, because of their faith in Him.
120 [12:12]
And I also saw many of the fourth generationa who died in righteousness as well.
121 [12:13]
¶ Then I saw the multitudes of the earth gathered together.
122 [12:14]
Again, the malak said: Behold your seed, and the seed of your brothers.
123 [12:15]
I looked, and I saw my people gathered in great numbers against the seed of my brothers, assembled for war.
124 [12:16]
¶ The malak spoke again: Behold the fountain of filthy water your father saw, the river of which he spoke; Its depths are the depths of Sheola.
125 [12:17]
The mists of darknessa are the temptations of the adversary, which blind the eyes and harden the hearts of the children of mankind, leading them onto broad roads where they are lostb and perish.
126 [12:18a]
The great and spacious building is the vain imagination, the pride and egoism of humanity.
127a [12:18b]
And between them lies a great and terrible gulf, the word of the justice of El Olama and of Yeshua HaMashiyach, the Messiah, the Lamb of Ha’Elohim.
127b [12:18c]
Of Him the Ruach HaKodesh bears witness, from the foundationb of the world until now, and from now forevermore.
128 [12:19a]
As the malak spoke, I saw the seed of my brothers contend against my seed, according to his word.
129 [12:19b]
Because of the pride of my people and the snares of the adversary, the seed of my brothers overpowereda my seed.
130 [12:20]
¶ And I saw that my people were overcome, and the seed of my brothers spread in multitudes across the land.
131 [12:21a]
And I saw them gathered together again and again.
132 [12:22b]
I saw wars, and rumors of wars, and through them many generations passed away.
133 [12:22]
And the malak said to me: See, these will dwindle in unbeliefa.
134 [12:23]
¶ And after they had lost their faith, I saw that they had become incapablea of perceiving divine truth, corrupted and estranged, unproductive in the things of the Ruach, and forgetting the Torah.
135a [13:1a]
¶ And the malak said to me: Look!
135b [13:1b]
And I saw many nations, many kingdoms rising and falling like waves upon the sea.
136 [13:2a]
And the malak asked me: What do you see?
137 [13:2b]
And I answered: I see more nations and realms than I can number!
138 [13:3]
He said to me: These are the kingdoms of the goyim.
139 [13:4]
¶ And as I watched them, I saw the foundation laid for a churcha vast and terrible, exalted above all others, yet more corrupt than all.
140 [13:5]
And the malak said: Behold the church most abominable, shea who slays the holy ones of Elohim, who torturesb the righteous, who binds them with iron yokes, and drags them into captivity.
142 [13:7]
I saw gold and silver piled high, silks and scarlet robes, fine linen and precious garments; I saw harlotry clotheda in splendorb.
143 [13:8]
And then the malak said: All she desires are the wealth, praise, dominion, and the admiration of the world.
144 [13:9]
To gain her desires, she destroys the qaddishima and sells souls into bondage.
145 [13:10]
¶ Then I looked again and saw many waters, vast and dividing, separating the goyim from the seed of my brothers.
146 [13:11]
And the malak said: Behold, the wrath of Elohim rests upon your brothers’ seed.
147a [13:12a]
And I saw a man among the goyuim, cut off by the many watersa.
147b [13:12b]
Ruach Elohim descended upon him, and he crossed the watersb to the land of promise.
148 [13:13]
¶ Then I saw others stirred by that same Ruach, leaving captivitya behind, passing through the waters by unseen power.
149 [13:14a]
¶ I saw multitudes of goyim spreada across the promised land,
150 [13:14b]
And I saw the wrath of Ha’Elohim scatter the seed of my brethren before them.
151a [13:15a]
Yet I saw the Ruach of יהוה YHVH upon the goyim; they prospered, they inherited the land.
151b [13:15b]
They were radiant and faira as my people once were before the sword consumed them.
152 [13:16]
¶ And I saw that when the goyim would humble themselves before יהוה YHVH, then His power was with them.
154 [13:18]
Yet the power of Ha’Elohim protected them, and the wrath of יהוה YHVH fell upon their enemies.
155 [13:19]
¶ Thus, the goyim who fled captivity were delivered by the handa of יהוה YHVH from every opposing nation.
156 [13:20a]
And I saw them flourish in the land.
157 [13:20b]
Then I saw a book carried among them.
158 [13:21]
The malak asked: Do you know what this book is?
159 [13:22]
I answered: I do not.
160 [13:23a]
He said: It comes forth from the mouth of a Yehudia; and I, Nephi, saw it clearly.
161 [13:23b]
This book, he said, contains the covenants of יהוה YHVH with Bnei Yisrael:
162 [13:23c]
The words of the prophets, the record of holy promises.
163a [13:23d]
It is like the Plates of Brass, though diminisheda,
163b [13:23e]
yet it still holds the doctrines and covenants יהוה YHVH has given Bet Yisrael.
164 [13:23f]
This book is still precious to the goyim.
165a [13:24a]
¶ And the malak said: You have seen that this book has come from the mouth of a Yehudi.
165b [13:24b]
When it first came forth, it held the Besorah in plainness, the testimony borne by the twelve Shli’achim, true according to the Lamb of Elohim.
166 [13:25]
And when it comes from Yehudim, in purity to the goyim, it holds the truth that is in יהוה YHVH.
167 [13:26a]
Yet after it passed from the hands of the prophets and Shli’achim of the Lamb, from the Yehudim to the goyim, you can see the foundation of that great and abominable church, more abominable than any other church,
168 [13:26b]
and many things were taken away from the Besorah, the Good News of the Lamb,
169 [13:26c]
plain truths, precious covenants, and hidden light.
170 [13:27]
These things were removed to twista the paths of יהוה YHVH, to blindb the eyes and hardenc the hearts of humanity.
171 [13:28]
As you can see, once the book had gone through the hands of the great and abominable church, many plain and precious thingsa were removed from the book, this book of the Lamb of Ha’Elohim.
172 [13:29a]
And after this light and knowledge was removed, it went out to all the nations of the goyim!
173 [13:29b]
These false teachings even went out across the many waters you saw, they went with those goyim fleeing captivity.
174 [13:29c]
These simple things taught by the book were lost to the children of mankind, the teachings of the book being changed by those who translated it, making the language of the book match the understanding and theologies of mankind, removing simplitistya of the teachings of the Lamb of Elohim.
175 [13:29d]
Thus, the book went forth wounded, and because of what was lost, many stumbled, and the Adversary gained great power.
176 [13:30a]
Yet יהוה YHVH would not abandon the goyim who, being lifted up by YHVH Elohim, had fled captivitya from the other goyim nations to choiceb lands,
177 [13:30b]
coming to the lands that YHVH Elohim has given in covenant to your father, for his seed to keep as an inheritance. The goyim will never be able to utterly destroy the seed of your father, though it will be mixed with other seed.
178 [13:31]
The goyim will not utterly destroy the remnant of your seed, nor allow them to remain forever wounded.
179 [13:32]
At the same time, YHVH Elohim will not allow the goyim to remain in their wounded state, which you see they are in because they have lost the most precious parts of the Besorah of the Lamb, as they have been kept back by that abominable church.
180 [13:33]
The Lamb said: I will be merciful to the goyim, and I will visit the remnant of Yisrael in judgmenta.
181 [13:34a]
¶ And the malak spoke again: See, says the Lamb of Ha’Elohim, after I have visited the trace parts of Bet Yisrael that remain, and this remnant part is the seed of your father,
182 [13:34b]
after I have visited them, and the goyim's hands smite Yisrael.
183a [13:34c]
And after the goyim stumble because of what was taken from My Worda by that great and abominable church, the motherb of harlots, says that Lamb,
183b [13:34d]
I will, in My mercy, bring forth again by My own power much of My Besorah, restored in clarity and light.
184 [13:35a]
For I will manifest Myself to your seed, said the Lamb, and they will write what I teach them, words plain and precious.
185 [13:35b]
And after your seed has been destroyeda and fallen into unbelief, along with the seed of your brothers, these records shall be hidden, then brought forth again from the goyim by My power to heal the nations.
187 [13:37a]
Blessed are those who labor to raise Ziona in that day, for they will walk in the gift of the Ruach HaKodesh.
188 [13:37b]
If they will keep their testimony, they shall rise at the last day in the everlasting kingdom of the Lamb.
189 [13:37c]
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of those who publish peacea, who proclaim good news, who declare joy!
190 [13:38]
¶ Then I saw the surviving portion of my brothers’ seed receive the book of the Lamb from the goyim,
191 [13:39]
and I saw other recordsa come forth by the power of the Lamb from the goyim to teach them, testifying to what was left of the seed of my brothers, to the Yehudi, to the goy, and to scattered Yisrael that the words of the prophets and the Shli’achim are true.
192 [13:40a]
¶ And the malak said: The second record confirms the first, restoring the light and understanding that was taken.
193 [13:40b]
They testify to every nation that the Lamb of Ha’Elohim is the Eternal Fathera, the Moshiab of the world that all must comec to Him, or they cannot be saved.
194 [13:41a]
And this is according to His words, established by the mouth of the Lamb.
195 [13:41b]
And these wordsa will be known together, the record of your seed and the record of the Shli’achim of the lamb.
196 [13:41b]
These will be established as one,
197 [13:41c]
because there is one YHVH Ametha and one Shepherd over all the earth.
198 [13:42a]
The time will come when He will reveala Himself to every nation, to Yehudim and goyim alike.
199 [13:42b]
And after He has declared Himself to the Yehudim and goyim, He will declarea Himself to the goyim and the Yehudim,
200 [13:42c]
and the last shall be first, and the first shall be last.
201a [14:1]
¶ And it will be in that day, if the goyim listen to the voice of the Lamb of Elohim, He will reveal Himself to them in word, in power, in living reality, removing the stones over which they have stumbled.
201b [14:2a]
If they do not harden their hearts against the Lamb, they will be counted among the seed of your father.
202 [14:2b]
Yes, they will be numbered among Bnei Yisrael.
203 [14:2c]
They will become a blessed people on the land of promise forever.
204 [14:2d]
They shall no longer be dragged into captivity, no longer in exile.
205 [14:2e]
And Bet Yisrael will no longer be shamed or confused among the nations.
206 [14:3a]
And the great pit, the abyss dug for them by the great and abominable church founded by the Accusera and his children to drag souls downward into Sheolb, that pit will be filled by those who dug it.
207 [14:3b]
Yes, the snare laid for the destruction of humanity will swallow its own builders, unto their complete undoing, declares the Lamb of Elohim.
208 [14:3c]
This is not the annihilation of the soul, but its casting into the endless abyssa,
209 [14:4]
according to the captivity of the devil and according to the justicea of Ha’Elohim upon all who choose wickedness and practice abominationb before His face.
210 [14:5a]
¶ And the malak spoke to me, saying: You have seen that if the goyim walk in teshuvaha, it will be well with them.
211 [14:5b]
You know the covenants of יהוה YHVH made with Bnei Yisrael.
212 [14:5c]
And you have heard that those who refusea teshuvah must perish.
213 [14:6]
Therefore, woe unto the goyim if they harden their hearts against the Lamb of Elohim.
214 [14:7a]
For the time is coming, says the Lamb of Elohim, when I will perform a work—great, astonishing, and wondrous among the children of humanity.
215 [14:7b]
It will be an everlasting work, stretching in twoa directions:
216 [14:7c]
Either it will persuade them toward peace and eternal life, or it shall deliver them to the hardness of their own hearts and the blindness of their own minds, leading them into captivity and ruin, both temporal and spiritual, according to the dominion of the devil of which I have spoken.
217 [14:8a]
¶ And when the malak had spoken these words, he said to me: Do you remember the covenantsa of Avinub with the Bet Yisrael?
218 [14:8b]
And I said: Yes.
219 [14:9]
Then he said: Look and see, the great and abominable church, the mother of abominations, whose founder is the devil.
220 [14:10a]
And he said: There are only twoa churches:
221 [14:10b]
one is the Avodaha of the Lamb of Elohim, the other is the church of the devil.
222 [14:10c]
Whoever does not belong to the Church of the Lamb of Elohim belongs to that great church, the mother of abominations,
223 [14:10d]
and she is the harlota of all the earth.
224 [14:11a]
¶ And I looked, and I saw the harlot of all the earth seateda upon many waters.
225 [14:11b]
She held dominiona over nations and kingdoms, over kindreds, tongues, and peoples across the whole world.
226 [14:12a]
¶ Then I saw the Church of the Lamb of Elohim, and they were few, made small by the corruptiona and violence of the great harlot who ruled the many waters.
227 [14:12b]
Yet I saw that the Saints of יהוה YHVH were scattereda across the face of the earth, present in every land.
228 [14:12c]
Their influence was small, their dominion narrow, because of the overwhelming wickedness of the great mother of abominations.
229 [14:13]
¶ And I saw that she gathered multitudes from every goyim nation ready to make wara against the Lamb of Elohim.
230 [14:14a]
¶ Then I, Nephi, saw the powera of the Lamb descend upon the Kadoshb of His church and upon the covenant people of יהוה YHVH, though scattered across the earth.
231 [14:14b]
They were clotheda in righteousness, armedb with divine power, wrappedc in great glory.
232a [14:15a]
¶ And I saw the wrath of Ha’Elohim poured out upon the great and abominable churcha.
232b [14:15b]
Wars arose, and rumors of wars echoed among all nations and kindreds.
233 [14:16a]
And as these wars began to spread through the dominion of the harlot, the malak said to me:
234 [14:16b]
Behold, the wrath of יהוה YHVH rests upon the mother of harlots.
235 [14:16c]
Look! You are seeing these things,
236 [14:17a]
and when the day comes that the wrath of Ha’Elohim is fully poured out upon the great and abominable church, whose foundation is the devil, then will the worka of Avinu begin.
237 [14:17b]
In that day, the work of Avinu will be done; He will prepare the way to fulfill His covenants with His people, Bnei Yisrael.
238a [14:18]
¶ And the malak said to me: Look!
238b [14:19]
And I looked, and I saw a man clothed in white.
239 [14:20]
And the malak said: Behold, one of the twelve Shli’achim of the Lamb.
240 [14:21a]
He will see and writea the remainder of these things,
241 [14:21b]
things yet to come, and many things that have already been.
242 [14:22]
He will write about the end of the world.
243 [14:23a]
What he writes shall be just and true,
244 [14:23b]
And it is written in the booka that came forth from the mouth of a Yehudi.
245 [14:23c]
When it first went forth, its words were plaina, pure, precious, and easy for all to understand.
246 [14:24a]
And the malak said: Many of the things the Shliach of the Lamb will write you have already seen.
247 [14:24b]
The rest you will yet behold.
248 [14:25]
But you must not write them, for YHVH Elohim has appointed this Shliach of the Lamb of Elohim to write them.
249 [14:26a]
Othersa, too, have seen these things and written them.
250 [14:26b]
Their words are sealeda, to come forth in purity according to the truth that is in the Lamb, in יהוה YHVH’s appointed time, for Bet Yisrael.
251 [14:27]
¶ And I, Nephi, testify that the name of the Shliach of the Lamb was Johna, according to the word of the malak.
252a [14:28a]
And I am forbidden to write the remainder of what I saw and heard,
252b [14:28b]
and what I have written is enough.
253 [14:28c]
I have written only a small portion of the vision shown to me.
254 [14:29]
I testify that I saw what my father sawa, and that the malak of יהוה YHVH made these things known to me.
255 [14:30a]
Now I end my speaking concerning the visions I saw while carried away in the Ruach.
256a [14:30b]
Though not all things are written, the things I have written are true.
256b [14:30c]
And so it isa: Amen.
