¶ And when thou art come into the land which YHVHa, thy Elohimb, giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the loathsome acts of those nations:
2
There shall not be found among you anyone who doeth sacrificeth his son or daughter in the fire, or that practiceth qasama, or the soothsayerb, or an enchanterc, or that practice priestcraftd,
3
Or the spell castora, or that consult with necromancerb or the familiar spiritc, or the necromanced;
4
For all that do these things are loathsomea unto YHVH; and because of these detestable things, YHVH, thy Elohim, doth drive them outb from before thee.

For these nations which thou shalt possess hearkened unto soothsaying of times and unto qasamim; but as for thee, YHVH, thy Elohim, hath not suffered thee so to do.

¶ YHVH, thy Elohim, will raise up unto thee a Propheta from the midst of thee of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken,

According to all that thou desiredst of YHVH, thy Elohim, in the day of the assemblya, saying: Who is there of all flesh that hath heard the voice of the living YHVH speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?

But go thou, Moses, near and hear all that YHVH, our Elohim, shall say; and speak thou unto us all that YHVH, our Elohim, shall speak unto thee; and we will hear it and do it.

And YHVH said unto me: They have well spoken that which they have spoken.
11
I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
12
And it shall come to pass that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.
13
But the prophet which shall presumea to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other elohimb, even that prophet shall diec.
14
And if thou say in thine heart: How shall we know the word which YHVH hath not spoken?
15
When a prophet speaketh in the name of YHVH, if the thing follow not nor come to pass, that is the thing which YHVH hath not spoken; but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously; thou shalt not be afraida of him.
