Chapter 1

1

And it came to pass that Moses (Mosheh, to draw up) and Zipporah (Tsiporah, bird or basket) did call for Joshua (Yehoshua, יהוה is salvation), the son of Nun (to increase),

2

And they did command him to learn from them of Adam (mankind) and Eve (Chavah, life), who are the first to enter into the presence of יהוה (YHVH), thus being the first parents of Israel (straight to God).

3

And so it was that he did learn from them the history of Israel, even from the very beginning.

4

¶ And it came to pass that in the thirty-second year from the time that Israel did leave Egypt by the hand of Moses and the power of יהוה (YHVH), that יהוה (YHVH) did come unto Moses, saying:

5

Take Joshua (Yehoshua, יהוה is salvation), the son of Nun, thy servant, and have him write these things as a memorial as to his charge in a book (or scroll).

6

And Moses did so, and he took a book (or scroll) and gave it unto Joshua (Yehoshua, יהוה is salvation), the son of Nun, and he did write upon it the words of Moses and Zipporah, saying:

7

¶ And it came to pass that after Adam (mankind) and Eve (life) were sent out of the garden of Eden (paradise), set to the East, יהוה (YHVH) having set the Cherubim a watching over that tree of life;

8

And so it was that Eve (Chavah, life) did grow with child, and unto them, Adam (mankind) and Eve (life), were two sons born; and one was of יהוה (YHVH), and the other of Lilith (under the cover of darkness or night).

9

And it came to pass that the son that served not יהוה (YHVH) did slay his brother; and Eve (life) did weep unto יהוה (YHVH).

10

And so it was that יהוה (YHVH) did come unto Eve (life) and did comfort her and sent her to fetch her husband.

11

¶ And it came to pass that יהוה (YHVH) did say unto them: I have cast out thy son, Cain (Qayin, to get or acquire); for he has been taught the mystery of the Leviathan (livyathan, serpent or sea monster), and he did eat and drink of it without pity.

12

And I would that thy seed not be polluted by the seed of Lilith (night or nocturnal) and Cain (to get or acquire),

13

For that which they do eat with their eyes and their ears shall be taught unto their hearts,

14

And it shall come out of them from their hands and their mouths unto the corruption of this earth.

15

And behold, I would that these should not be corrupted; therefore, I have cast him out and all they that would follow after them.

16

And so shall I cast out all they that should eat of this mystery and drink of the blood of this corruption.

17

For Ha’Elohim did say: Let us create mankind in our image, and thus did Ha’Elohim create mankind after the very image of Yah (יה).

18

And after Ha’Elohim did create mankind from upon the earth, יהוה (YHVH) did breathe life into all that would seek Him, and mankind did become alive, giving birth to the nefesh ha'elokit (divine soul).

19

¶ And it came to pass that Yah (יה) did say: It is not good for these men to be alone, and in this shall I help them.

20

And the Breath did put the man, Adam (mankind), to a very deep sleep, and did take from the side of him flesh, and brought it unto them.

21

And so it was that when Adam (mankind) did awaken, they did see another woman and called her Life (Eve; Chavah, life), for she is the mother of all creation.

22

And I, YHVH Elohim (אלהים יהוה), did blessed them and named them on the day of their creation.

23

¶ And it came to pass that mankind was given the Torah of Life, and to prepare them in that garden that was set apart from the Earth into the Presence of Elohim (Shekinah);

24

And so it was that when Ha’Elohim was finished blessing and instructing you that Ha’Elohim did leave you, yet mankind did remain in the Presence even as I, יהוה (YHVH) had instructed in your mitzvoth.

25

¶ And it came to pass that there were serpents (selfish or wicked desires) about in that garden, for Ha’Elohim did place them there even to tempt you.

26

And so it was that these serpents did entice you and did persuade you to eat of that, the tree of knowledge of good and evil;

27

For you did hearken unto the voices of the serpents, and did transgress, and partook of the fruit of that tree, and did eat.

28

¶ And it came to pass that in that day did I, YHVH Elohim (אלהים יהוה), send you out from the garden of Eden unto that very ground from which you were taken.

29

And so it was that you, Adam (mankind) went unto thy wife, Eve (life), and she did bare two sons, and there were two of them, and they were brothers of the same womb, being twins in her womb.

30

And it came to pass that thou, Eve (life), did call the name of the firstborn Cain (to get or acquire), saying: I have been gifted a son from יהוה (YHVH),

31

And thus did you, Eve (life), call the name of the younger one Abel (Habel, breath), for he was half the size of Cain (to get or acquire), his brother; and thus did he struggle for his life.

32

¶ And it came to pass that as they grew, Cain (to get or acquire) became one to till the ground; and Abel became one that did watch over the flocks of sheep.

33

And so it was that after seven years of laboring in their fields that each did bring an offering unto me.

34

¶ And it came to pass that Cain (to get or acquire) did dig up the fruit of the ground in much boasting, and Abel did bring forth from the firstlings of his flocks in humility.

35

And so it was that a fire did come down from יהוה (YHVH) that did consume the offering of Cain (to get or acquire),

36

For Cain (to get or acquire) had brought with him the lesser fruit of his vanity, but the offering in humility given by Abel (Hebel, his breath) was accepted and the people did eat of it.

37

¶ And it came to pass that Cain (to get or acquire) was jealous against his brother Abel for this, and he did lust after the wife of his brother,

38

And so it was that Cain (to get or acquire) did plot murder with that Lilith (night or nocturnal) to take the blood of Abel (his breath), which was his own blood for they were brothers, and they were twins, and he did plot to slay Abel (his breath).

39

¶ And it came to pass that thy son Cain (to get or acquire) did go out one day into the field of Abel, his brother, and they were both alone in that field,

40

And so it was that Cain (to get or acquire) did come unto his brother Abel suddenly and he did smite his brother and took him and hid him up and slew him.

41

And Cain (to get or acquire) did spill the blood of his brother Abel upon the earth, and Cain (to get or acquire) then did rise up and dig a hole wherein to hide the body of his brother, Abel (his breath).

42

And it came to pass that I, יהוה (YHVH), did know that which Cain (to get or acquire) had done unto his brother, Abel (his breath), and I did show myself unto Cain (to get or acquire), and said unto him: Where is thy brother, Abel (his breath)?

43

And so it was that Cain (to get or acquire) defied me, saying: Am I the keeper of my brother as well?

44

¶ And it came to pass that I did speak again unto Cain (to get or acquire), saying:

45

Because thou hath done this, the voice of the blood of thy brother, Abel (his breath) crieth out unto me from the ground where in he doth lay.

46

And thou didst this thing for naught but an oath of wickedness, and for thy own gain, yet thou shall not be blessed by it;

47

Therefore, thou shall be cursed, all they who would open the mouth of the ground to hide the sin of blood to buried it there and confess it not.

48

And I shall mark thee with a seal and a sign, that all they that should come up unto thee shall know that you repent not,

49

And that they should flee from before thee, for not even death shall seek to take thy life,

50

But thou who did hearken unto the whispers of Lilith (night or nocturnal) shall lie with her and be her servant unless thou should repent.

51

¶ And it came to pass that from that time did Cain (to get or acquire) go out from my Presence, from the place where he was, and he shall continue wandering in the land, he and all they that would belong to him.

52

And this did יהוה (YHVH) speak unto Adam (mankind) and Eve (life) that they should know concerning the fate of their sons, and many more things did יהוה (YHVH) speak unto them.

53

And so it is that they who sin in יהוה (YHVH) as Adam (mankind) and Eve (life) do sin in vain, yet piercing their hearts they do seek teshuvah, that they should return unto YHVH Elohim (אלהים יהוה) once more;

54

But they who sin to get gain and pierce not their hearts, and repent not—even as that Lilith (night or nocturnal) and Cain (to get or acquire)—these shall wonder in vain, never for to find joy but to hunger and thirst forever and ever.
