After I had finished speaking to my brothers, they said to me: These are hard words you have spoken, more than we can carry.
2a [16:2a]
¶ And I said to them: I know the words were sharp, the truth is a sword to the wicked and a balm to the righteous! I have spoken according to what is true, lifting up the just, and declaring that they will risea at the last day.
2b [16:2b]
But the guilty call truth difficult, because it cuts inward, even to the marrow of the soul.
3 [16:3]
My brothers, I said, if your hearts were upright, and if you were willing to listen, to walk straight before Ha’Elohim, you would not murmur against truth or say: You speak against us!
4 [16:4]
And I urged them with all diligence to keep the mitzvoth of יהוה YHVH.
5 [16:5]
And after hearing this, they humbled themselves before יהוה YHVH, and my heart rejoiced, because I had great hope that they would yet walk the narrow and living path of righteousness.
6 [16:6]
All these things came to pass while my father dwelt in a tent in the valley he named Lemuel.
7 [16:7]
¶ In those days I, Nephi, took one of the daughters of Ishmael as my wife; and my brothers did likewise, and Zoram took Ishmael’s eldest daughter.
8 [16:8a]
In this way, my father fulfilled all his mitzvoth, as יהוה YHVH had given him,
9 [16:8b]
and I too was exceptionally blessed.
10 [16:9]
¶ Then, in the stillness of the night, the Voice of יהוה YHVH spoke to my father, instructing him to continue the journey into the wilderness.
11 [16:10a]
And when my father rose at dawn and stepped to the door of his tent, he was astonished! There, upon the ground, lay a round object, expertly crafted, made of polished brass.
12 [16:10b]
Within this balla there were two spindlesb, one of which pointed the way we should travel through the wilderness.
13 [16:11a]
¶ And we gathered what provisions remained, all we could carry that יהוה YHVH had given us,
14 [16:11b]
and seed of every kind, that life might yet spring forth even in desolation.
15 [16:12]
¶ We took our tents and crossed the river Laman.
16 [16:13]
And we traveled four days in a south-southeast direction, until we pitched our tents again and named the place Shazera.
17 [16:14a]
¶ From there, we hunted with bows, arrows, stones, and slings, and returned to Shazer with food for our families.
18 [16:14b]
And again, we pressed onward, keeping near the fertile edges of the wilderness, along the borders of the Red Sea.
19 [16:15]
We traveled day after day for a long time, using our bows, arrows, stones, and slings to slay our food.
20 [16:16]
And we were always guided by the brass sphere, which led us by life-givinga paths, where we could survive in the wilderness.
21 [16:17]
After many days, we camped again to rest and to gather food.
22a [16:18a]
¶ And then the day came when I, Nephi, broke my bow of fine steela.
22b [16:18b]
My brothers were angry with me, as without it we were unable to hunt and bring back game.
23 [16:19a]
We returned to our families empty-handed,
24 [16:19b]
and our families suffered hunger and weariness.
25 [16:20a]
¶ In their hunger, Laman and Lemuel grumbled, the sons of Ishmael complained; even my father spoke against יהוה YHVH his Elohim! Sorrow thickened the air, and their hearts grew heavy with complaint.
26 [16:21]
¶ I too was afflicted, as my brothers’ bows had lost their strength, and food was nowhere to be found.
27 [16:22]
I spoke plainly to them, reprimanding the hardening of their hearts and their griping against יהוה YHVH, their Elohim.
28 [16:23a]
¶ Then I made a new bow from wood and made an arrow from a straight branch; I armed myself with what was simple, a bow, an arrow, a sling, and stones.
29 [16:23b]
Then I asked my father: Where should I go to find food?
30 [16:24]
Humbled by my words, he inquired of יהוה YHVH, as I had said many things to them by the very power of my soula.
31 [16:25]
¶ And the voice of יהוה YHVH came to him, chastening him for his murmuring until he was brought low in sorrow.
32 [16:26]
And יהוה YHVH said: Look upon the ball, read what is written!
33 [16:27]
When my father saw the writing, fear and trembling seized us all, my brothers, the sons of Ishmael, and our wives.
34 [16:28]
¶ And I understood that the spindles within the ball worked according to our faitha, our diligence, and the attention we gave them.
35 [16:29]
New words appeared upon it, plain, living wordsa, revealing the ways of יהוה YHVH, and the writing changed over time, reflecting our devotion or our neglect.
36 [16:29d]
This was how we learned that by small and simple means יהוה YHVH brings about great things
37 [16:30]
¶ Based on the directions given to us by the ball, I climbed to the topa of the mountain,
38 [16:31]
and there I slew wild beastsa, bringing food to our families.
39 [16:32a]
When I returned to our tents with the game I had slain,
40 [16:32b]
they saw it, and their joy overflowed,
41 [16:32c]
and then they humbled themselves and gave thanks to YHVH Yir’eha.
42 [16:33a]
¶ We journeyed again along the same course,
43 [16:33b]
and after several days, we pitched our tents again and camped for a season.
44 [16:34]
¶ And there Ishmael died and was buried in the place called Nahoma.
45 [16:35a]
His daughters mourned deeply, and their grief turned to fear and complaining.
46a [16:35b]
They blamed my father for taking them from their home in Yerushalayim, crying:
46b [16:35c]
Our father is dead! We have wandered in hunger and thirst, and now we will die suffering here in the wilderness!
47 [16:36]
And they mutter against my father and me like this, wanting nothing but to return to Yerushalayim.
48 [16:37]
And Laman riled Lemuel and the sons of Ishmael up, saying: Let us kill our father and Nephi, who pretends to rule over us.
49 [16:38a]
He says יהוה YHVH speaks to him, that angels attend him!
50 [16:38b]
But he lies, he seeks to deceive us, leading us into strange lands.
51 [16:38c]
And after he has led us away, he thinks he will make himself king over us, doing whatever he wants at his own whim and pleasure.
52 [16:38d]
And he went on like this, inflaminga their hearts.
53 [16:39a]
¶ But יהוה YHVH was with us, and the Voice came again speaking to them, chastening them with power.
54 [16:39d]
After they were chastened, they repented, their anger dissolved, and יהוה YHVH blessed us with food once more, so that we did not perish.
55 [17:1a]
¶ And again we set our faces toward the wilderness, journeying Eastward beneath the open heavens.
56 [17:1b]
Our path was marked by affliction: sand and stone, hunger and weariness, yet life continued among us, and our wives bore children as we traveled in the desert.
57 [17:2]
The blessing of Ha’Rachamana rested on us in abundance; though we ate uncooked flesh, our women were strong, filled with life; their bodies overflowing with nourishment for their children, enduring the journey without complaint, bearing hardship with a strength equala to the men.
58 [17:3a]
Thus we learned this truth: the Torah of יהוה YHVH does not fail!
59 [17:3b]
Because when the children of mankind keep the mitzvoth יהוה YHVH gives them, Yachad Yachid Echada sustains them, strengthens them, and prepares the very means by which His word may be fulfilled.
60 [17:3c]
So He provided the things we need throughout our wandering in the wilderness.
61 [17:4]
For eighta long years we sojourned, years of refinement, years of testing,
62 [17:5a]
until we came to a land we named Bountifula, a place of fruit and wild honeyb.
63 [17:5b]
And we understood that this was a land prepared by יהוה YHVH so that we would not perish.
64 [17:5c]
There we beheld the sea, which we called Irreantuma, the Sea of Many Waters.
65 [17:6a]
¶ We pitched our tents beside its shore.
66 [17:6b]
And though our sufferings were many, too many to record, our hearts overflowed with joy when we stood before the seaa.
67 [17:6c]
Again, we called the place Bountiful, for life flowed freely there.
68 [17:7a]
¶ And after many days, the Voice of יהוה YHVH came to me, saying: Arise! Ascend the mountaina.
69 [17:7b]
And I went up into the mountain and cried out to יהוה YHVH.
70 [17:8]
¶ And He spoke, saying: Build a shipa, after the pattern I will showb you, that I may carry your people acrossc these waters.
71 [17:9]
And I said: Adonai, where will I find ore to fashion toolsa for such a work?
72 [17:10]
And יהוה YHVH showed me where to go.
73 [17:11a]
¶ And I made bellows from animal skins to kindle the fire,
74 [17:11b]
and I struck stones together to draw forth flame.
75 [17:12a]
Until that time, יהוה YHVH had not permitted us to make fire in our journey, saying:
76 [17:12b]
I will make your food sweeta without cooking.
77 [17:13a]
I will be your lighta in the wilderness.
78 [17:13b]
I will go before you and prepare the way.
79 [17:13c]
And if you will keep My Torah, you will know it is I who leads you toward the Promised Land.
80 [17:14a]
And when you arrive, you will know that I, יהוה YHVH, am your Elohim,
81 [17:14b]
that I, יהוה YHVH, am your Deliverer;
82 [17:14c]
it is I who brought you out of the land of Yerushalayim.
83 [17:15]
Because of this, I worked to keep His Torah and its mitzvoth, strongly encouraging my brothers to be faithful.
84 [17:16]
¶ I fashioned tools from the molten ore.
85 [17:17a]
But when my brothers saw that I intended to build a ship, they mocked me, saying:
86 [17:17b]
He is a fool, he thinks he can build a ship,
87 [17:17c]
And he thinks he can crossa these vast waters.
88 [17:18a]
They complained openly, unwilling to help with the labor,
89 [17:18b]
and, they refused to believe that I was instructed by יהוה YHVH.
90 [17:19a]
¶ Their unwillingness to believe broke my heart.
91 [17:19b]
And when they saw my sorrow, they rejoiced in it, saying:
92 [17:19c]
We knew you couldn’t build a ship, you lack judgment, you cannot complete such a task!
93 [17:20a]
You are like our father, led by foolish visions.
94 [17:20b]
Our father brought us out of Yerushalayim, and we have suffered all these years.
95 [17:20c]
Our women laboreda in childbirth in the wilderness.
96 [17:20d]
It would have been better to die in the City of Peacea than to endure this.
97 [17:21]
Look at all the years we have suffered in the wilderness, time we could have spent enjoying everything we left behind! We could have been happy.
98 [17:22a]
We know that the people of Yerushalayim were righteous.
99 [17:22b]
They kept the mitzvoth, the Torah, and the judgmentsa of יהוה YHVH.
100 [17:22c]
Our father has judged them in error, and led us away!
101 [17:22d]
And Nephi is just like him!
102 [17:22e]
In this way, my brothers spoke against us.
103 [17:23]
¶ Then I spoke to them again: Do you believe Yisrael would have escaped Egypt if they had not hearkened to יהוה YHVH?
104 [17:24]
Would they have escaped slavery if YHVH had not instructed Moses to leada them out of bondage?
105 [17:25a]
And you know that Bnei Yisrael were kept as slaves, burdened with difficult tasks.
106 [17:25b]
Do you understand that it was better for them to be led out of that bondage?
107 [17:26a]
You know that Moses was givena to do that great work.
108 [17:26b]
And would Moses have parteda the sea without His command?” You know the Red Sea divided.
109 [17:27]
And you know Pharaoh’s armiesa were swallowed.
110 [17:28]
You know mannaa fell from heaven,
111 [17:29]
and by the power of יהוה YHVH, Moses hita the rock, and water burst forth from it.
112 [17:30]
Yet despite being led by יהוה YHVH Himself as a pillar of clouda by day, fire by night, giving them everything they needed to sustain their lives, they hardened their hearts, blinded their minds, and complained against Moses and against YHVH Amethb, who is Elohim Chaiyimc.
113 [17:31a]
¶ And keeping His Word, Ve’Daiyan Yisraela destroyed them:
114 [17:31b]
By His word, He led them.
115 [17:31c]
By His word, YHVH El Rachama did everything for them.
116 [17:31d]
And Nothing happened unless it was by the Word of Ahman Ha’Olama.
117 [17:32]
And after they crossed the river Jordan, He made the people stronga, and they drove out nations before them.
118 [17:33]
Was this because Yisrael was greater? No!
119 [17:34a]
Was it because our fathers would have been better off if they had been more righteous?
120 [17:34b]
I tell you, No!
121 [17:35a]
יהוה YHVH esteems all flesh equally,
122 [17:35b]
thought righteousness is precious to Ha’Elohim.
123 [17:35c]
Yet we see, El Roia lets the wicked grow in their evil, the wicked ripen into their fates,
124 [17:35d]
and YHVH Raphacha cursed the land against the wicked, while yet blessing our fathers; and he cursed the land to the destructiona of the wicked,
125 [17:35e]
While blessing it for our fathers, giving them stewardship over it.
126 [17:36a]
Ahyeh Asher Ahyeha created the earth for all life,
127 [17:36b]
and Abba Ha’Briy’aha teaches His children how to live in the earth.
128 [17:37]
And YHVH Yir’eha raises nations and brings them low.
129 [17:38]
Ha’Yohtzar Ha’Ora leads the righteous into precious lands and makes the earth a curse to the wicked.
130 [17:39]
And El’Olama reigns from the heavens where his throne rests, the earth being His footstool.
131 [17:40a]
HaShem YHVHa loves those who choose Him.
132 [17:40b]
Oseh Shaloma loved and remembered Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and the covenant He made with them and their children.

YHVH Yir’eha delivered them from Mizraim (Egypt),
133b [17:41a]
and corrected them in the wilderness.
134 [17:41b]
When the fiery serpentsa came, He offered a way to be healed.
135 [17:41c]
All they had to do was look, yet many perished because the way was too simple.
136 [17:42a]
Those were the people who hardened their hearts, murmuring against Moses and against Ha’Elohim.
137 [17:42b]
And yet, as you know, they were led forward by the matchless power of Tzur Yisraela to the promised land.
138 [17:43a]
And now, after everything, they have ripened in their iniquity.
139 [17:43b]
And I know that now is the time of their destruction.
140 [17:43c]
And now I know that Yerushalayim is near destruction, except for the few who will be taken away captive.
141 [17:44a]
This is why יהוה YHVH told our father to flee into the wilderness.
142 [17:44b]
First, the Yehudim wanted to kill our father, and now you, you want to end his life too!
143 [17:44c]
In your hearts, you are murderers just like them.
144 [17:45a]
How quick you are to do evil, yet so slow to remember יהוה YHVH, your Elohim.
145 [17:45b]
You have seen a malaka, and he has spoken to you, you know you have heard his voice more than once!
146 [17:45c]
You have heard the still, small Voicea, but because your hearts were numb,
147 [17:45d]
and then יהוה YHVH spoke in thunder and shook the earth beneath your feet!
148 [17:46a]
And so you know that by the Word of His power, if He wanted, YHVH Tsidkenua could destroy this earth!
149 [17:46b]
You know that by His Word, HaShem YHVHa can make rough things smooth and break smooth things into pieces.
150 [17:46c]
O! Why are your hearts so hard?
151 [17:47a]
My soul is torn with anguish for you! My heart hurts in my fear that you may be cast off forever!
152 [17:47b]
I am overflowing with the Ruach Elohim, so much that my body had no strength left.
153 [17:48a]
¶ And then, when I had finished speaking, they wanted nothing more than to throw me into the sea.
154 [17:48b]
But I commanded them in the name of Elohim Shaddai: Do not to touch me, for the power of Ha’Rachamana is burning within me.
155 [17:48c]
If anyone were to touch me, they would wither like dry grass; they would be as nothing before the power of Shalom YHVHa for YHVH Raphachab will smite them.
156 [17:49]
¶ I told them to stop their moaning and clamoring, and to labor with me.
157 [17:50a]
¶ For if YHVH Yir’eha wills it, all things are possible.
158 [17:50b]
If He should tell me to say to this water to become earth, and I say it, the water would obey.
159 [17:51]
So now, knowing that Tzur Yisraela has done all these wonders, why could He not teach me to build a ship?
160 [17:52a]
¶ And I spoke to them to the point that they had no response to my words—they were perplexed, astonished, and ashamed.
161 [17:52b]
And because of this, they did not dare to touch me for many days.
162 [17:52c]
And the power of Ruach Elohim was so strong in me that they were afraid they would die, right there in front of me.
163 [17:53]
¶ Then יהוה YHVH said: Stretch forth your hand again, I will not wither them, but I will shake them, so they will know that I am יהוה YHVH.
164 [17:54]
¶ And so I stretched out my hand, touching them, and they were shaken by the power of YHVH Ametha.
165 [17:55a]
And the said: We know for sure that Ahman Ha’Olama is with you, because through you we have felt the power of HaShem YHVH.
166 [17:55b]
They fell before me, but I lifted them up, saying: I am your brother, do not worship me!
167 [17:55c]
Worship יהוה YHVH, your Elohim! Honor your father and mother, that your days may be long in the land יהוה YHVH gives you.
168 [18:1a]
And finally found the faith to bow themselves before יהוה YHVH, and they went with me into the labor, and together we shaped timbers of rare design, wood taught not by human crafta alone.
169 [18:1b]
And יהוה YHVH instructed me again and again, revealing the hidden pattern, the tzuraha beneath the form, showing me how each beam must be cut, each joint alignedb with the heavens.
170 [18:2a]
I, Nephi, did not work the wood as men are taught by other men, I did not build the ship after the customs of this world.
171 [18:2b]
The ship was formed by revelation, after the manner shown me by יהוה YHVH, and therefore it bore a wisdoma not born of this age.
172 [18:3]
¶ Often I ascended the mountain seeking the Face beyond the veil, I prayed; and in that rising and returning, יהוה YHVH unveiled to me great and secret things.
173 [18:4a]
¶ And when the ship was finished according to His Word, my brothers looked upon it and saw that it was good: its workmanshipa beautiful, ordered, whole.
174 [18:4b]
And once more, humility clothed my brothers, and they bowed themselves in humility before יהוה YHVH.
175 [18:5]
¶ And Then the Voice spoke to my father: Arise! Go down into the ship.
176 [18:6a]
At dawn, we prepared all that was instructed: fruit from the wilderness, meat, honey in abundance, and provisions measured by obedience.
177 [18:6b]
Going down to the ship, each soul entered accordinga to their season,
178 [18:6c]
elders and children, wives and sons, and all descended into the vessel.
179 [18:7]
¶ In the wilderness, my parents birthed two sons: Jacoba, and Josephb; their names promises carried across the sea.
180 [18:8a]
And after we had loaded up ourselves, provisions, and our belongings onto the ship, as was our mitzvoth,
181 [18:8b]
we set forth upon the waters, driven by the winda toward the land prepared for us.
182 [18:9a]
But after many days, my brothers and the sons of Ishmael, and even their wives, began to dance, sing, and speak with scorn to their own self-pleasure; they gave themselves to laughter without remembrance, to song without gratitude, and to dancing without reverence.

They had forgotten the Source of their deliverance, forgetting by what Power they had been carried to that point.
184 [18:9c]
Their speech grew coarse, and their hearts were puffed up.
185 [18:10a]
Fear seized me, not for myself, but for the ship of souls; I trembled lest יהוה YHVH be provoked, lest the sea become our judgment and swallow us into the depths.
186 [18:10b]
I spoke to them with sobriety, with measured words, seeking to restore balance.
187 [18:10c]
But they burned with anger, crying: We will not have our younger brother command us!
188 [18:11a]
¶ Then Lamana and Lemuelb, names that once bore strength and devotion, laid their hands upon me, binding me with cords, and they were harsh with me.
189 [18:11b]
But יהוה YHVH permitted it so that His power might yet be revealed, and His word fulfilled upon the unrepentant.
190 [18:12]
¶ As I was bound and unable to move, the compassa prepared by יהוה YHVH, the sign of divine orientation, stopped working; direction vanished, knowledge was severed from action.
191 [18:13a]
Not knowing where to steer the ship, when a great storm arose, terriblea and consuming,
192 [18:13b]
we were driven backward upon the waters for three days.
193 [18:13c]
Fear spread through the ship, my family thought we would drown in the sea!
194 [18:13d]
Yet still my captors would not release me.
195 [18:14]
On the fourth day, the tempest grew even more fierce, and the sea opened its mouth.
196 [18:15a]
¶ It seemed as though we were about to be swallowed up by the sea!
197 [18:15b]
After being driven back on the waters for the space of four days time, at last they perceived that the judgments of Ve’Daiyan Yisraela were upon them, and that only teshuvah could preserve us.
198 [18:15c]
They came and loosened the cords from my wrists, which were now swollen and wounded, and from my ankles, sore with pain.

¶ Yet I turned my face toward my Ve’Daiyana, praising Him without stopping, and I did not murmur, for suffering borne in faith restores what rebellion fractures.
200 [18:17a]
¶ Now, my father had spoken up, warning them, but they threatened any who defended me.
201 [18:17b]
My parents, worn with years and sorrow, were brought low, near to the threshold of death.
202 [18:18a]
And they were in such a sorry state because of the evils of my brothers, that they were ready to meet Shalom YHVHa.
203 [18:18b]
Their gray hairs bent low, toward the dust,
204 [18:18c]
their lives nearly claimed by grief and the sea alike.
205 [18:19a]
Jacob and Joseph, still tender in years, suffered in hunger, weepinga because of their mother’s suffering.
206 [18:19b]
My wife pleaded with tears and prayers; my children cried out; yet none of this had softened their hardened hearts.
207 [18:20a]
Nothing but the raw power of YHVH Ametha, threatening destruction, could break the grip of pride.
208 [18:20b]
Only when they saw the abyss ready to receivea them, they looked for teshuvah and released me.
209 [18:21a]
¶ I took the compass once more, and it lived again in my hands.
210 [18:21b]
And I prayed to יהוה YHVH, and the winds stilled, the storm dissolved, and a great calm descended, chaos had returned to order.
211 [18:22]
¶ I guided the ship again, and we sailed onward toward the land of promise.
212 [18:23a]
After sailing for many days, we arrived! And we stepped foot upon the land of promise.
213 [18:23b]
We pitched our tents, and named it: Ha’aretz HaMuvtakhata: The Promised Land.
215 [18:24b]
And they grewa beyond measure! The land overflowed with blessings in abundance.
216 [18:25a]
¶ We found beastsa in the forests of every kind, for labor, for sustenance, for life; we gave them common names, like cow, ox, ass, horses, and goat, making use of all of them
217 [18:25c]
And in the earth were hidden treasures, gold, silver, and copper, waiting to be raised by a people who would remember the Hand that brought them there.
218 [19:1a]
¶ And it came to pass that יהוה YHVH instructed me to fashion plates from the ore of the earth, and to carve on them a remembrance of my people.
219 [19:1b]
And upon these plates I inscribed the record of my father, his visions, his prophecies, our wanderings through the wilderness, and many things the Ruach revealed to me as well.
220 [19:2a]
At the time I made them, I did not yet know that יהוה YHVH would later command me to prepare these very plates, this smaller record, for this purpose.
221 [19:2b]
The fuller history, the genealogy of my fathers, and most of the early journeyings, are engraved upon the first set of plates, the larger record.
222 [19:2c]
The writings to be read here are told there in greater detail on the other plates.

¶ And then, after I had made these plates as I was instructed, I received another word from יהוה YHVH: that the ministry, the prophecies, the plain and precious things, those that heal, awaken, and bind souls to Oseh Shaloma, should be written here.
224 [19:3b]
These words were to be preserved for the instruction of the people who would inherit the land, and also for a wisea purpose known to יהוה YHVH.
225 [19:4a]
Upon the other plates, I recorded a different account: the wars, the contentions, the destructions of my people.
226 [19:4b]
And I told my children that these records should be passed from generation to generation, from prophet to prophet, until יהוה YHVH should give further instruction.
227 [19:5a]
The story of how these plates were made will be told later.
228 [19:5b]
For now, I continue as I have said, that the more sacred things may be preserved for the knowledge of my people.
229 [19:6a]
I do not engrave upon these plates anything I do not judge to be holy.
230 [19:6b]
And if I err, I err as those before me have erred,
231 [19:6c]
not to excuse myself by their weakness, but to confess my own, for I am flesh.

What some hold to be of great worth, to body and to soul, others trample under their feet.
233 [19:7b]
Even Ha’Kadosh Yisraela is treated as nothing!
234 [19:7c]
I say trample under their feet, but let me say this another way:
235 [19:7d]
They do not listen to the voice of His counsel; they dismiss Him, and turn away.
236 [19:8]
And yet you will see that, according to the word of the malak, He will come six hundred years from the time my father left Yerushalayim.
237 [19:9a]
The world, hardened by iniquity, will judge Him as worthless: they will scourge Him, and He will endure it; they will strike Him, and He will take it.
238 [19:9b]
They will spit upon Him, and He will suffer it because of His blessed lovingkindness, and His long-suffering toward the children of Adama.
239 [19:10a]
The Elohim of our fathers, the One who brought Yisrael out of Mitzrayim, who sustained them in the wilderness,
240 [19:10b]

He will be laid in a tomba, as Zenos spoke, and three daysb of darkness will cover the land

as a sign of His death to those upon the islesa of the sea,

especially to Bet Yisrael.

The propheta has said: YHVH Elohim shall surely visit all Bnei Yisrael in that day.
246 [19:11b]
Some He will visit with His voice because of their righteousness unto joy and salvation.
247 [19:11c]
Others He will visit with thunder and lightning, with fire and smoke, with darkness and the trembling of the earth, with mountains lifted and the ground torn open.
248 [19:12a]
All these things must surely come, said the prophet Zenos.
249 [19:12b]
The rocksa will split, and the earth itself will groan.
250 [19:12c]
And many kings of the isles of the sea will hear these groans and be pierced by Ruach Elohim and cry out: Elohei Ha’Tevaa suffers.

As for those at Yerushalayim, the prophet declareda: They shall be scourged by all nations, because they crucify Ha’Tzur Yisraelb, rejecting signs and wonders, turning aside from His power and glory.

Because they despised HaKodesh Yisraela, they will wander in the flesh, scattered, becoming a hiss and a byword, and be hated among the nations.

Yet when the day comes that they no longer harden their hearts against HaKodesha, then יהוה YHVH will remember the covenantsb made with their fathers.

He will remember the isles of the sea.
255 [19:16b]
He will gather all Bnei Yisrael from the four cornersa of the earth, as Zenos said.

And the prophet saida: All the earth will see the salvation of יהוה YHVH.
257 [19:17b]
Every nation, every kindred, every tongue, every people shall be blessed.
258 [19:18]
¶ And now I, Nephi, write these things to persuade my people to remember יהוה YHVH, their Ga’alia.

And I speak to all Bet Yisrael, whoever may receive these words.

For the workings of the Ruach HaKodesh within me cause my frame to tremble, even my joints are weak, and my soul is burdened for those at Yerushalayim.

Had יהוה YHVH not shown me their end, just as He showed the prophets of old, I too would have perished.

And I know that He revealed all things to the ancient prophets,

And He has revealed much concerning us as well!
