And El Olam (the Everlasting God) reigns from the heavens where his throne rests, the earth being His footstool.

The people have rejected the prophets. Had he remained, he would have perished with them. It was wisdom that he fled. And it is wisdom in El Olam (the Eternal God) that we obtain these records, that we may preserve for our children the language of our fathers, and the words of the holy prophets, spoken by Ruach HaKodesh (The Holy Breath) from the beginning of the world until now.

For it is expedient that an atonement should be made; for according to the great plan of the Eternal God, there must be an atonement made, or else all mankind must unavoidably perish;
